The LGBT associations of Brescia (Agedo, Rainbow Families, Arcigay Orlando, and Pianeta Viola) intend to launch an initiative in the Municipality of Brescia aimed at urging the local administration to fully recognize heterosexual and homosexual de facto couples and to extend these rights to all registered families, including homosexual families.
Among the possibilities on the table is the initiative of a signature collection for the presentation of a Proposed popular resolution on the affective family certificate binding on the City Council.
To this end, they propose to the social and political realities of the city that are attentive to these issues to become part of a promotional committee supporting the initiative and for the eventual collection of signatures.
The invitation is also open to individuals who wish to make their own contribution in this regard.

Certain of the fundamental importance of this initiative, aimed at effectively protecting de facto families, given their constitutional importance, also enshrined by the Constitutional Court, we hope for broad participation to advance our city's dignity and rights for all.
