[:en]A great honour for all of us to host Natascia Maesi, national president of Arcigay, in Scicli and Ragusa, last weekend.
Just over 24 hours, very little time to show her our places, our spaces, the people we collaborate with every day.
In Scicli, between a breakfast and an interview, we went to the CGIL of Scicli (a few months ago we made an agreement and we have the availability of the CGIL spaces throughout the province of Ragusa, so as to have more offices spread throughout the territory), to House of Cultures (a headquarters of the Mediterranean Hope Project, a place of exchange and meeting, where we hold our assemblies), we also met the AGIRE Cooperative (Type B cooperative that manages cultural sites in Scicli, promoting the employment of disabled people).
In the evening we go to Ragusa for the "Pride Out" meeting and aperitif:
LGBTQI+ community, feminism and transfeminism, gestation for others, rainbow families, gender identity, faiths, self-determination, activism, are just some of the key words that, together with the Ragusa Pride Committee, we identified and discussed with Natascia, in front of a large attentive audience.
