Verona's only LGBT* film festival isn't giving up, and despite the coronavirus emergency, it's still offering a series of truly compelling titles this spring, perfect for watching from the comfort of your own armchair.

For nine editions, the review QUEER VISION It showcased the best of international cinema on LGBT+ themes (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, etc.) thanks to the selection made by the Arci/Arcigay Pianeta Milk club and the essential support of the Multisala Rivoli.

This spring it looked like the festival would be cancelled due to the coronavirus emergency, but Pianeta Milk refused to give up and, as it continues many of its online activities, decided to also try the online film festival route.

After having contacted various directors from the four corners of the globe, some of them winners or winners of awards at important world film festivals, and having had their enthusiastic response, Pianeta Milk proposes its first “sofa edition” Of QUEER VISION, an edition that wasn't supposed to be there and that is there instead - a bit like platform 9 ¾... The volunteers of the club have subtitled especially for this edition of the festival about fifteen short films, medium-length films and films that will be visible, freely, legally and for the first time translated into Italian, through the links that will be released at 8.30 pm during three Tuesdays - the traditional day of QUEER VISION - and one Sunday (May 17th, world day for the fight against homo-bi-transphobia) on the official page of the club (www.pianetamilk.it), on his cinema blog (http://cinemaglbtverona.blogspot.com) and on his social profiles.

The first evening, Tuesday, April 28, is dedicated to the film “Un frère – a brother” by Victor Habchy (France 2018), based on a graphic novel by Bastien Vivès also published in Italy by Bao Publishing. Three evenings of medium and short films will follow, which, playing on the titles of famous songs or films, will be entitled “Girls just want to have fun”” (Tuesday, May 5th, dedicated to the female universe – but not only), “Il venait d'avoir 18 ans” (Tuesday 12th May, dedicated to adolescence, first loves, problems of acceptance) and “My own private Idaho(bit)” (Sunday 17 May, International Day Against Homo-Bi-Transphobia). The titles of the short films will be announced gradually, and the links to view them will remain available on the website. All this, of course, while waiting and hoping to return to the Rivoli Multisala for the tenth edition...
