Stranizza is a fictional story inspired by the story of Giorgio Giammona and Antonio Galatola, two boys who lived in Giarre, Sicily.
Their deaths, unfortunately, are true. The Giarre Crime is the name by which the event is remembered today.
Two gay men died in Sicily: it was never said that theirs was love.
Luciana Licitra will be in conversation with the author.
