Stop the unconstitutional Parliament: "We will challenge any law against LGBT people."“

Saturday, December 7th in Rome #LOVEISRIGHT National demonstration for civil rights

The Constitutional Court, which yesterday declared the Porcellum law unconstitutional, has repeatedly called on Parliament in recent years to legislate on the legal recognition of same-sex couples and has dismantled piece by piece the horrific Law 40 on assisted fertilization. Overall, the entire judicial system has intervened to correct or fill the flaws and gaps of parliaments elected with a system contrary to the norms of the Constitution. The associations Agedo, Arcigay, ArciLesbica, Certi Diritti, Equality Italia, Famiglie Arcobaleno, and Mit, promoters of the national demonstration on Saturday, December 7, 2013 in Rome's Piazza SS Apostoli, and #Loveisright, accuse the successive parliaments over the years of having acted in contempt of Articles 2 and 3 of the Constitution and of the European Directives and Treaties formally adopted but never implemented. Hoping that the current unconstitutional Parliament, composed of party secretariat appointees, will be dissolved as soon as possible, they declare from now that any discriminatory legislation attempted to be passed at the expense of LGBT people will be immediately challenged in court.
