Meeting with Uber Sossi on Tuesday, January 24th at 9:00 pm at the Circolo Tralaltro in Padua
On Tuesday, January 24th, at 9:00 PM, the Arcigay Tralaltro Club will host Uber Sossi, a philosophical analyst specializing in educational consulting and philosophical practices, at its headquarters at Corso Garibaldi 41 in Padua. He will hold a discussion on "The Dark Masks of Desire: Imagination, Fantasies, Transgressions, and Perversions.".
A conversation, drawing on contributions from psychoanalysis, anthropology, and philosophy, to explore hypotheses about the meaning of old and new sexual behaviors. The discussion will also address the issue of "sexual addiction," recently highlighted by the film "Shame," starring Michael Fassbender.
Uber Sossi works as a pedagogue in the Addiction Department of the Brescia Local Health Authority. He has previously taught "Educational Planning and Psychosocial Rehabilitation" and "Methods and Techniques of Interviewing and Counseling" at the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery in Brescia. He is a founder of the "Società di Analisi Biografia ad Orientamento Filosofico (SABOF)" (Society for Biographical Analysis with a Philosophical Orientation). He is also the author of texts and articles in the fields of psychosocial research and philosophical practices.
