Monte San Savino: The Municipality joins forces to combat sexual orientation discrimination.

The Municipality of Monte San Savino is the first in the Province of Arezzo to join RE.A.DY., the National Network of Public Administrations Against Discrimination based on Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity.
The membership comes at the initiative of the Councilor for Equal Opportunities Erica Rampini, following a proposal from the Arcigay Arezzo Committee "Chimera Arcobaleno.".

The Re.A.DY. Network, founded in 2006, works to foster synergy in the actions of public administrations by promoting policies that meet the needs of LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) people, helping to improve their quality of life, promoting respect for sexual identities, and creating a social climate of discussion free from prejudice. Thanks to this new connection, the Savino Municipal Council hopes to find new tools, ideas, and resources to increase anti-discrimination efforts, as some larger municipalities have already done. On Wednesday morning, a delegation from the Savino municipal administration will be present in Rome at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers to participate in a meeting between local administrations, the Ministerial Department for Equal Opportunities, and the Re.A.DY. network, where collaboration methods and objectives will be discussed.
