It was 2003 when Bari hosted the National Gay Pride, and those who took part still remember with deep emotion everything they experienced within that magical container of celebration and rights.
It's been a long 10-year wait, requiring the tireless work of countless associations and individual activists, coordinated by the board of Arcigay Bat (the event's promoter), but we're proud to announce that Gay Pride is finally returning to Puglia!

BILLIE HARD is a rock n roll and rockabilly band formed on November 11, 2011 by Marzio Palmieri, Giacomo Ristano and Alessio Mastrorillo.
The name BILLIE HARD recalls the rockabilly musical genre and the style
The 50s are embodied by the Billie mascot logo, which recalls the rock 'n' roll icons of the time, such as Elvis Presley, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis, etc.
The band brings together the unbridled guitar of Marzio Palmieri, the warm and captivating voice of Giacomo Ristano, the unstoppable rhythm of Alessio Mastrorillo on drums, the lashing bass of Pierpaolo Confalone and the fiery notes of Vito Colasuonno on his piano.
Throughout their career, BILLIE HARD have played in numerous venues in Puglia, Basilicata, and Molise, performed in shopping malls and squares, appeared on radio shows including "Controradio," "Canale 93," and "Abbey Radio," and were guests at large motorcycle rallies among hundreds of Harley Davidsons and large American Cadillacs. Their careers also include city festivals, burlesque shows, and nightclubs, which have earned the band over 7,500 km of travel!
In December 2012 they performed in a special concert at the Santo Graal in Trani, hosting Salvatore Cafiero, guitarist of the singer Dolcenera, on stage.

and Laura Calcagno, a violinist who appeared on the show Italia's Got Talent.
The special collaboration with Salvatore Cafiero will lead to a repeat performance on January 6, 2013 at the Babalù in Trani, a sold-out concert.
On May 8, 2013, they released their first self-produced single, ’Perduto Amor,” a song by the famous singer Natalino Otto dating back to 1944, via the web and local radio.
The BILLIE HARD show will make you relive the spirit of the legendary '50s with the rhythm of true rock 'n' roll, where every event will be full of surprises!

Ironique, a whirlwind of different sounds and tastes: theater, auteur pop, the refined French that bursts into her lyrics, poetry, irony, and the neuroses of a singer-songwriter with spiky hair and an ever-present tuxedo. Having left Belgium, where she lived for the first fifteen years of her life, Luigia Altamura, aka Ironique, grew up in Molfetta surrounded by the music of her guitarist brother Sergio and the ice creams of her father, a former pastry chef with a past as a great musician (leader of the Rovers, a Molfetta band from the 1960s). Her first album, Mio padre vendeva i gelati, produced by the courageous Digressione Music label (with the support of Puglia Sounds), is a multifaceted journey through the scents of her childhood and the many facets of an artistic personality that draws on the legacy of female icons with strong personalities and marked theatricality, from Nina Hagen to Laurie Anderson. The result is a vocal tightrope walker, a modern chanteuse who shatters every convention on stage with unpredictable performances reminiscent of an '80s Peter Gabriel. The album features nine songs for nine ice creams, each with a different flavor and form: from the electropop of the title track to the poignant notes of "Cuore d'amore," the oriental flavors of "A, a Amaca" and the retro feel of "Cuscinetti," the divertissement of "Chaque soir sur le toit" "in fake English and fake French, ironic language." The irreverent sneer of "Voglio andare a Pompidou" (a perfect catchphrase refrain expertly arranged by the virtuoso Sergio Altamura) counterbalances the unexpected tenderness of "Cattivo gusto," all the way up to the single "Seulement tes yeux," whose video (directed by Ottopiù) has already conquered the internet and is participating in the 1M festival contest, which will bring six Italian artists to the stage on Primo Maggio. The album, a hymn to diversity condensed into nine tracks (an absolute first in the Italian music scene), was born in the artisanal workshop of maestro Giovanni Astorino, bassist for Caparezza, cellist in the Orchestra della Fondazione Petruzzelli in Bari, and arranger of the entire album. There, Ironique often retreats with her longtime collaborator, guitarist Giulio Ricotti, to churn out her songs, for which she writes both music and lyrics. Bio. The scholarship to the Mogol Academy of Authors and Performers (won in 2007) was just the first in a series of accolades for Ironique, who was a semifinalist at Musicultura and Sanremo Lab and a finalist at Sanremo Web in 2010 with "Amore a più non posso." That same year, she was a guest on MTV as the winner of the TNT – Festival dei Giovani Talenti, the first event dedicated to Italy's youth excellence, promoted by the Minister of Youth. The song "Voglio andare a Pompidou" was selected by Renato Zero for the Io e l'Altro box set (published by Fonopoli). Her live performances are explosive. On stage, Ironique is unpredictable and racy. She has opened for Morgan, Roy Paci, Marta sui Tubi, Caparezza, Simone Cristicchi, Bungaro, Nina Zilli, and Tricky.
