“Rainbow Chimera”" is a social promotion association founded in December 2009 to affirm the full realization and visibility of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people in the province of Arezzo, with the aim of combating homophobia, transphobia, prejudice, discrimination, and violence in all their forms. In October 2010, it officially became Arcigay Territorial Committee, joining the network of the largest Italian LGBTI association. Since then, the number of volunteers has steadily grown, as have the initiatives and projects implemented. Chimera Arcobaleno collaborates regularly with local institutions and various local associations, promoting initiatives aimed at building a supportive, secular, and democratic society in which human and civil rights are recognized, promoted, and guaranteed without discrimination based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other personal or social condition.
