HIV Testing Open Day: A Success in Participation and Awareness
The Open Day dedicated to HIV testing, promoted by Arcigay RC in collaboration with the Provincial Health Authority of RC (ASP di RC), took place on Thursday 22 May.
The event represented an important opportunity to raise awareness about HIV prevention and control, promoting a culture of information and responsibility. Thanks to the presence of qualified healthcare professionals, participants had the opportunity to take the rapid test free of charge and in complete confidentiality, receiving immediate support and counseling.
“"We want to thank everyone who participated and made this day possible, demonstrating once again the importance of shared initiatives for promoting health and social well-being," said the president of Arcigay RC. "We will continue to work to ensure that prevention is accessible and widespread, helping to create a more aware and inclusive community."”
The event is part of a series of activities aimed at promoting information on sexual health issues and strengthening the role of associations and institutions. The initiative is part of the activities of the Arcigay RC Health Desk, which is supported by the Waldensian Eight per Thousand funds.
