Talks, round tables, shows, and DJ sets to celebrate Pride month, with stand-up among the guests

Florence, June 25, 2025 – Pride River arrives in Florence, a two-day event featuring talks, theater, music, dance, and drag.
Show to celebrate Pride Month: Saturday and Sunday, June 28-29, at Ultravox (Meadow of the
Tinaia alle Cascine) a packed program of events between pride and performance art. An event
for the whole city that addresses complex issues with simple and direct languages, through shows
comedians, music, and theater. Throughout the weekend, there will be information from the associations, a
marketplace and a swap point.
Among the events not to be missed, Saturday 28 June at 6pm the songs of Choreos – LGBTQIA+ Choir of Florence,
alternating with the performances of Agedo Florence, addressing issues of parenthood, discrimination and
pride. To follow at 7.30pm the presentation by “The Plurals” from the book Lady Cinema with Valentina
Towers. The evening will continue at 9.30pm with the Open Mic show “Hangar House” hosted by Ava Hangar and is
will conclude with the DJ Set by Rikku & Pussy Fight Club until late at night.
Sunday will be another day dedicated to performance art. We're off at 5.30pm with a volleyball tournament
4 organized with Revolution ASD, Polisportiva fiorentina lgbtqia+ and continues with a round table on
Tuscany Pride 2025 among Florentine LGBTQIA+ associations. At 7:30 pm a real Pride will take place.
“A ”living library” where you can borrow stories and people. The evening will end with
life from 8.00 pm with the Stand Up Comedy of Simonetta Musitano, Unsolicited Reviews, Frad, Sofia
Gotthards. The two-day event will end with a show featuring’Drag art “Zuppiera 33” edited by
Ava Hangar and La Fay with the participation of Drag The Shade and followed by a DJ set by Sharon Ops who
