United in our differences: Naples Pride approaches its thirtieth anniversary. The first public meeting will be held on April 12th.

The associations Antinoo Arcigay Naples, ATN Transsexual Association Naples, ALFI Napoli Le Maree APS and ETS Pride Vesuvius communicate the resumption of a shared path within the organizing committee of the Naples Pride.
Differences exist in political and collective spaces, and they aren't always simple or easily reconcilable. However, we believe that political activism isn't a place of uniformity, but rather of confrontation, even when it's complex, even when it challenges, even when it doesn't produce immediate synthesis.
The decision to work together stems from the awareness that Pride is too important a political space to be navigated only when everything is simple or when all positions coincide. Pride is, by its very nature, a plural, conflictual, and vibrant space, and precisely for this reason it must remain an open space, navigable and collectively constructed.

Uniting differences to defend Pride

Differences are not erased or hidden, but politically traversed, with the responsibility of continuing to build a common space in a historical moment in which the rights, bodies, and lives of LGBTQIA+ people, women, and all marginalized subjects are increasingly under attack.
This is why we believe the most responsible choice today is not to withdraw, but to be there, participate, speak out, and contribute to building Pride, keeping it a free, political, grassroots space that truly represents the complexity of our community.
Napoli Pride will continue to be an open, plural space, crossed by different positions, yet united by a common goal: to defend, reclaim, and expand the spaces of freedom and self-determination for all.

The thirtieth anniversary of Naples Pride, from the first national parade in 1996 to today

Napoli Pride is preparing to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of the first national premiere held in Naples—the first city in the South—in 1996. The date of June 27th seals three decades of constant commitment.
In recent years, political battles, advocacy efforts, dialogue with local governments to implement best practices, and the building of national and international relationships have led to the creation of numerous services and, above all, many successful political and social battles. These results, while leaving many concerns unaddressed, demonstrate how the needs of LGBTQIA+ people are increasingly interconnected and how urgent it is today more than ever to ensure universal, effective, and impactful services that address our concerns in the fight against racism, sexism, ableism, and classism in an intersectional way.

LGBTQIA+ Rights and Intersectional Struggles: The Movement's Political Vision

Over the years, the demand for rights has transcended the confines of issues related to gender, sexuality, affectivity, and relationality, acquiring an intersectional nature to propose a model of a plural society, an alternative to any system based on domination, exclusion, and oppression.
The vision of society we express is connected to the rights of all discriminated, marginalized, and under attack social groups, joining with transfeminist demands, the world of work, precariousness, new forms of poverty, disabled people, and migrants.

Naples Pride 2026: First public meeting, April 12

We want to build a political manifesto that highlights our stance: queer, transfeminist, and anti-fascist; the stance of sisterhood as a daily commitment, of the fight against patriarchy and all forms of cis-heteronormativity. Without forgetting our opposition to every war and—we forcefully reiterate—every genocide, thus affirming the inviolable guiding principles of the self-determination of peoples, individuals, and bodies.
She is summoned for the day April 12th to the 5:00 PM in Vico San Geronimo 17, the first public assembly of Napoli Pride 2026 to build, together with associations, movements and collectives, Napoli Pride 2026.

Defend rights, support our work

Promote rights, actions, well-being, campaigns, demonstrations, monitor and put pressure on parliament and institutions so that in Italy there are increasingly more egalitarian policies and laws in favor of lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transsexuals and intersexuals, coast. Arcigay tries to give body and reality to each of these objectives with specific programs and initiatives…that cost! This is why we ask you to support us.  You can do it with a one-time donation or with periodic donations even small amounts but which allow us to better plan our activities, with the 5×1000, with a legacy, by financing specific initiatives, by urging your company to support us… To your advantage, there are also tax breaks. You provide us with your support and trust. We provide our hard work, brains, and passion, and we're committed to keeping you informed about the progress of our joint work and how we'll invest your contribution.Perché una società migliore fa bene a tutti, a te e a noi.
