A workshop on territorial policies for accessibility and quality of life for LGBTQIA+ people was held at Villa San Giovanni.

The workshop "Strengthening Local Policies for Accessibility and Quality of Life for LGBTQIA+ People" took place yesterday at Villa San Giovanni. The workshop is part of the CAD – Enti in Rete project, which focuses on preventing and responding to gender-based violence against LGBTQIA+ people.

The initiative saw the participation of the Social Services of the Villa San Giovanni Area and represented an important opportunity for institutions, professionals, and local organizations to discuss inclusion, accessibility to services, and the development of public policies capable of meeting the needs of LGBTQIA+ people.

The meeting explored tools, practices, and strategies for strengthening local networks and promoting greater collaboration between organizations, services, and associations, with the aim of combating discrimination and inequality and improving the quality of life for LGBTQIA+ people.

The event is part of the project activities carried out in collaboration between Arcigay Reggio Calabria "I Due Mari", Arci Samarcanda and the COSPECS Department of the University of Messina, with the support of OXFAM Italy within the European Connecting Spheres program.
