Considering that
– The members [of the Board of Guarantors] are elected from among members who have acquired specific experience in the association field and/or have adequate legal expertise. (Statute, Art. 26)
– The National Board of Auditors is composed of three members and two substitutes chosen from among the members (…) who have adequate administrative and/or accounting experience. (Statute, Art. 27)
Noted that
– The Arcigay National Statute does not provide any other specific provisions regarding the skills/experience required to hold elective positions within the Association. (Statute, art. 7)
From the Statute – Article 7
“The internal structure of the Association is inspired by criteria of democracy and equal rights for all members. Corporate positions are elective, and all members may be nominated for them.”

RECOMMENDS to the President, the Secretary, and the National Council elected by it
To take all appropriate action to promote the expansion, growth, and valorization of the formal and informal skills acquired within the association and/or professional context of its members, paying particular attention to those elected or appointed to roles within the association at all levels and in all areas of intervention, including through adequate information regarding the skills, experience, and abilities relevant to their roles within the Association.
Before each vote of the National Council where the election of statutory positions is envisaged, including the members of the National Secretariat, they must present to the councilors the personal and professional profiles of all candidates, including their skills and experience.
