December 22: 6 months of Protego

Thursday, December 22nd at 4:30 PM, in the Social Activities Department hall, at Via Giuseppe Garibaldi 26, we will present the results achieved during the first 6 months of the Protego anti-discrimination center's opening.

Protego is a pilot project supported by the’National Anti-Discrimination Office – Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department for Equal Opportunities and is the first center against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity in western Sicily and one of the first in Italy.


Some activities are carried out thanks to the contribution of the’ Waldensian Eight Per Thousand.


The center was inaugurated on May 25, 2022; during the meeting, the services and results of the first six months of activity (June-November) will be presented, as well as prospects for the continuation of the service.
