Arcigay Ragusa, like many other organizations, firmly opposes the construction of this cemetery "for unborn children," which comes so close to the current election campaign and is a clear symbol of its support for the pro-life and anti-abortion wing.
We firmly believe in the free choice of all people, with particular reference to those who choose to have an abortion, certain that no person makes this choice lightly, but always with rationality.
We are against the exploitation, the blaming of women, and the obstacles that are imposed on those who choose to voluntarily terminate a pregnancy.
We demand that in the province of Ragusa, there be free access to IVG (Voluntary Termination of Pregnancy) and that counseling centers, hospitals, and all healthcare facilities carry out their work, avoiding judgmental attitudes.
