Pride Lab: Making Pride 2024
- What are Pride Labs?
The Pride Labs are creative workshops to build Ragusa Pride 2024 together.
Pride is not just a major annual event for the LGBTQIA+ community, but rather the most significant opportunity to express their demands, make themselves visible, and recognize themselves as a community. It is also a collective journey that unfolds over several months.
- What do you need to participate?
The Pride Lab Kit is made up of a few simple tools that we can all easily find:
Brilliant ideas, contagious enthusiasm and imagination
Colored cardboard, scissors, pencils and markers
Desire to get involved and willingness to share your skills.

April 17 – “The Toolbox”
May 15 – “We Make Words”
June 12 – “Radio Frocia Here”

We've filled our toolbox!
We have two hot air balloons, one in the air and the other anchored to the ground, 3D glasses, a magnifying glass, a whisk, a sewing machine, and a cookie box containing sewing tools.
And again, miracle products, a washing machine, music, a microphone to give a voice to those who have none, a red square, a paintbrush, a brick, a fan, a clock, a smile, a high-heeled shoe, a bellows to rekindle the flame.

The second Pride Lab proved to be a moving and powerful moment, with personal testimonies highlighting the importance of the fight for LGBTQ+ rights. These precious words began to build a political document that represents the voice of all those fighting for an inclusive and respectful world free of discrimination and prejudice. The work begun during the lab will be just the first step towards the Ragusa Pride 2024 manifesto, aimed at guaranteeing the rights and dignity of every individual. We are proud to be part of this fight.
