The website www.arcigay.it is the most widespread external communication tool for Italy's largest gay association. It contains all the information and insights on the ideas, services, and initiatives promoted by Arcigay.
It offers article publishing services, document downloads, photo galleries, surveys, multilingual fact sheets, and webmail accounts. It also offers a weekly email newsletter service that promotes updates to the most relevant content.
It is structured to achieve three main objectives:

ARCIGAY LOCAL REALITIES PORTAL
The arcigay.it website aims to enhance the territorial structure of the association, rooted in approximately 60 Italian provinces, through the updated and interactive publication of all the contacts and services of the provincial committees and affiliated recreational clubs, collecting the publications of all the initiatives, infolines, welcome groups, reports and photo galleries of the events organised in the territories.
It is structured through a modulation in the twenty Italian regions and provinces in which the Association operates in contact with its over 170,000 members.
CULTURAL NEWSPAPER
The arcigay.it website is an archive of cultural articles organized into 12 thematic areas and containing documents, press reviews, TV reviews, and web bibliography.
The thematic areas develop the following themes:
1) HEALTH: conscious sexuality, prevention of STDs and HIV/AIDS, fight against discrimination against HIV+ people, blood donations.
2) SOCIAL: promoting LGBT visibility, socialization groups, helpline services, spreading the culture of protection for homosexual couples, homodisability, homoparenting.
