Campaign for the long-distance adoption of HIV-positive children

A few pennies from your change can help HIV-positive orphaned children.

La campagna di Arcigay Frequency

A new campaign promoted by the Roman club started on December 1st 2006 Arcigay Frequency. This is an initiative to help HIV-positive children in Swaziland, a small country in southern Africa. The campaign is being sponsored by the Green Party senator Gianpaolo Silvestri and the Olive Tree MP Franco Grillini, honorary president of Arcigay. The campaign will run until January 6, 2007.

By donating a few cents from your change, paying for the club's entrance fee, you can help raise funds. The sum raised will be doubled by the cultural association Frequency and used for the long-distance adoption campaign for HIV-positive boys and girls., “A school for a friend”, managed by Legambiente in Swaziland.

For just 180 euros a year, it is possible to provide AIDS orphans, living in conditions of severe marginalization and semi-abandonment, with a protected place where they can grow up and be cared for, assisted, and welcomed.

The time needed to fully develop all the phases is three years.

Your change is also worth something, and it's worth a lot.
