Dipingere questa panchina durante i tre giorni intensi di inaugurazione dello Spazio Polaresco — uno spazio pubblico di proprietà del Comune di Bergamo e dedicato interamente all’aggregazione delle nuove generazioni — ha rappresentato molto più di un semplice intervento grafico o di arredo urbano. È stato un atto consapevole di riappropriazione territoriale e di rivendicazione politica attiva.
In un contesto sociale in cui le discriminazioni basate sull’orientamento sessuale e sull’identità di genere continuano ad essere minacce quotidiane, imprimere fisicamente i colori della Progress Pride Flag nel cuore di un polo giovanile comunale significa lanciare un segnale inequivocabile. Questo presidio diventa un memorandum visivo permanente contro l’omolesbobitransfobia, il razzismo e ogni forma di marginalizzazione.
