Arcigay expresses its deepest sympathy and solidarity with Fabrizio Sorbara, president of Arcigay Naples, and his partner for the cowardly attack they suffered on Friday inside a well-known club in Posillipo.
“A Neapolitan man of about 25,” Sorbara explained, “saw me and my partner kissing and went berserk and started hitting us on the back until we separated.”.
We ask the new municipal administration to translate the campaign pledges to combat homophobia and discrimination into concrete action.
This latest attack demonstrates, once again, the urgent need to pass a serious anti-homophobia law that can effectively combat violence against the LGBT community.
