Arcigay Consoli L'Aquila and the LGBT Movement Arcobaleno Eagle express solidarity with the youths attacked by a homophobic mob. The LGBT movement of L'Aquila, Arcobaleno Eagle, and the Arcigay Massimo Consoli of L'Aquila express solidarity with the youths who were subjected to a homophobic attack in Chieti Scalo, involving bottles, stones, and insults. This unprecedented violence was perpetrated by approximately fifty unidentified individuals. The entire LGBT community in Abruzzo hopes that the appropriate investigations will be conducted and appropriate legal and judicial action taken. Such heinous acts of unacceptable racism will never be repeated, as Abruzzo has always demonstrated a high level of political and social civility. Arcigay L'Aquila and Arcobaleno Eagle are available to the attacked youths and their loved ones for any assistance they may need and ask all civil and human rights associations in Abruzzo to join the civil action in any upcoming trial of the attackers.
